A Christmas Story Movie Synopsis: - It's 1940, almost Christmas, and Ralphie Parker hopes to get a Red Ryder 200-shot Carbine Action Range Model Air Rifle. When he asks his mom, she says "You'll shoot your eye out." His friend Flick gets "triple-dog-dared" into sticking his tongue gets stuck to a flagpole, causing the fire department to remove it. His father gets a lamp shaped like a woman's leg (which is later broken), only to have Ralphie mutter a dirty word at him. He then gets a C+ on a theme his teacher assigned that had to state what he wants for Christmas, also with the regular "You'll shoot your eye out." Ralphie then goes on to ask a rather crabby Santa at the mall for his BB gun, only to get the "You'll shoot your eye out," phrase for the final time. He finally gets the BB gun from his dad and accidently fires a "bullet" at himself, thus injuring his cheek. He tells his mother it was an icicle. Believing him, she helps him keep the injury from getting infected. Meanwhile, their neighbors' dogs get into the kitchen, ruining their dinner. They go out to a Chinese restraunt and have them sing to them. A man cuts their meal's head of and they go home feeling happy. The end.
